If you or someone you know needs help, below is a list of some of the services available in New Zealand that offer support and information. All services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week unless otherwise specified.

What's Up – 0800 942 8787 (for 5–18-year-olds). Phone counselling is available Monday to Friday, 12noon–11pm and weekends, 3 pm–11 pm. Online chat is available Monday to Friday from 1 pm–10 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm–10 pm.

Kidsline – 0800 54 37 54 (0800 kidsline) for young people up to 18 years of age. Open 24/7.
